Sandra G. (Scaff) Ryan, 64, died Thursday, August 8, 2024, at her home in Taunton after a courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a degenerative neurological disease.

She was the wife of Thomas P. Ryan. Born, raised and educated in Elizabeth City, NC, daughter of the late Hillary and Margaret (Symmons) Scaff, she was a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Class of 1983.

Sandy worked in Medical Sales and Training for many years, at several different companies, including Instrument Labs in Waltham and the Olympus Inc. in Lake Success, NY. She retired in 2021. Sandy and Tom were winter residents of Hillsboro Beach, FL for several years.

Sandy was an avid cook and enjoyed to entertaining her family and friends at her home.  Sandy loved hosting Christmas and looked forward to her Superbowl Party every year. She also enjoyed running and exercising and competed in several Falmouth Road Races, 10Ks and 5Ks in the area.
