Lee Cronin and Wild Atlantic duo team up for Doppelgängers
Lee Cronin, the writer/director of 2023 horror hit Evil Dead Rise, has established a new production company with long-standing partners John Keville and Macdara Kelleher of Wild Atlantic Pictures.
Cronin said that Doppelgängers has agreed a first-look deal with New Line Cinema.
Evil Dead Rise used 6,500 litres of fake blood in the production and grossed $147m worldwide, and Cronin is currently in development on the upcoming horror-thriller Thaw.
Cronin commented: “Doppelgängers has been born out of an ever-evolving relationship with John Keville and Macdara Kelleher, both of whom have been incredible partners and creative collaborators.
“Aligned in our hunger and ambition to create striking stories for wide audiences, we decided to seize the opportunity to formalise our partnership with this new venture.
